French designer, born in Paris, she graduated from ENSC1-Les Ateliers (foie 'Nationale Superieure de Creation lndustrielle Paris) in 1993. Since then Sempe focusses on the design of furniture lighting, objects and fabrics. From 2000 till 2007 she was scholarship holder at the Villa Medici, Academie de France in Rome and opened her own studio in Paris in 2000. In the beginning she collaborated with the Italion companies Cappellini and &Ira. Now Sempe works among others for French companies such as Ligne Rosa Moustache. Domestic, Baccarat; Italian enterprises like LucePlan as well as scandinavian companies such as David Design. Hjelle, Almedahl's and the american company Artecnica. She was awarded Grand Prix de la Creation en design de la Ole de Paris in 2003. Solo exhibition at the Musee des Arts decorotifs of Paris in 2003. She lives and works in Paris and collaborated with Cappellini, Edra, Ligne Roset, Magis, Wastberg etc.
