Johan Van Hengel is a Dutch designer based in Rotterdam. With a technical background in industrial design, he worked on both consumer electronics and furniture before launching his own studio in 2013. Focusing on furniture, lighting, and living accessories. A problem solver by both nature and training, JOHAN VAN HENGEL’s logical and investigative approach is driven by a desire to enrich everyday objects with new layers of sophistication, individuality, and meaning.
